By Lisa Bell

Dough treats are so tempting that no one can resist them. Every area in Europe has its own delicacies when it comes to dough, and some are really irresistible. Inside this soft dough, there is a surprise, sometimes it is marmalade, sometimes creamy cheese, and sometimes chocolate.

Cinnamon is probably one of the most popular spices ever. When it comes to cakes, cinnamon rolls at sojourn are always loved and greatly appreciated. Everyone has his or her favorites, but you can also make your own version in your own kitchen. You will need just a few basic ingredients, and, in time, you'll probably make your own version, suited exactly to your personal taste.

You'll need just a few simple ingredients, a pound of fine flour, two small spoons sugar, cinnamon, maybe three deciliters milk, a small spoon of salt, 125 grams butter and cream cheese, dry yeast and some sweet cream. So, prepare all the ingredients and you are ready to start making this delicacy.

Simply combine melted butter, sugar milk, a little bit of flour and dry yeast and let it rise for a while. Of course, in a warm place. After that, add more flour and salt, adding flour little by little to form a soft, but not too soft dough. Beat it nicely and this is it. The dough is done, now you just have to wait until it rises.

The dough should rest until its volume is at least doubled. Then, you should roll it out in a square. Sprinkle the surface with a generous amount of melted butter, sugar and cinnamon. Roll it into a nice roll, remove irregular sides and slice 2-3 centimeter wide pieces. Place each piece on its side on the baking sheet, previously sprinkled with melted butter.

Leave the dough to rise again. During this time, warm the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake the cinnamon rolls until they become golden and crunchy. Take it out of the oven and prepare the dressing. For this, you will need cream cheese, powdered sugar, and butter. The butter needs to be softened first, and you should keep it at room temperature.

Mix well the softened butter with sugar, until fluffy. Add cream cheese and continue mixing. Add some sweet cream in, just to get one smooth frosting you can pour over warm rolls. If you would like to have sweeter frosting, add more sugar and more sweet cream, it's up to your taste. More cream cheese will make the frosting thicker, and vice versa. It's better to pour the frosting on very hot rolls right away.

Simply sprinkle or pour the frosting over your lovely rolls and you are ready to enjoy. They are best while still warm, but you won't be disappointed with cold ones either. They can be easily frozen and served after warming in your oven or microwave. The frosting can be really easily prepared, so, pour it over them when hot, do not freeze them with frosting on. It would be more complicated to warm them up in your oven. In any case, enjoy.
